Hailing from Meanjin and surrounds, the girls and boys of Revelation Groove are an eight-piece 'get-up and go then sit-back down' fusion groove band.

 

Take a cupful of Latin grooves, add some Gypsie goodness, stir till the Funk and Blues rise to the top then lower the heat with simmering Soul. Serve with some Rockabilly Folk and get dancing! The band have been flying high lately regularly inhabiting various local live music venues, small festivals, community events and functions in and around South-east Queensland – always determined to party and share the love of music and fun with their audiences!

 

With several songwriters from varied musical nurseries, their sound is a eclectic mix of styles and tempo but always delivered with the Rev groove oomph! The line-up features a unique ensemble of accordion, violin, keyboards, bass guitar, percussion, saxophone, guitar, drums and sweet vocal harmonies.
